and indoor arena. We created a large-scale parquet by changing the direction of the grain of the red birch 
field and inlaid the horses to form an entry at the barn/arena door. This contemporary parquet graces the floor of the “party room” in a townhouse in Georgetown. This traditional parquet is accented with a simple contrasting border to delineate function areas. Chinese knots in strategic corners reinforce the Victorian tone.
